Imposing penalties on some companies for delaying the submission of financial statements

On August 31, 2021, the Board of Commissioners issued decisions imposing penalties for delaying companies in submitting financial statements within the legal deadlines, in violation of the disclosure and transparency system, as follows:

 

Imposition of a fine of 1,000,000 SYP against the Amrit Company for Investment and Tourism Development for its delay in submitting final data for the year 2020.

- Imposition of a fine of 1,000,000 SYP against each of the Union Cooperative Insurance Company and Syriatel Mobile Telecom for its delay in providing interim data (first quarter - midterm) for the year 2021.

- Imposition of a fine of 550,000 SYP against the Syrian Kuwaiti Insurance Company for its delay in submitting mid-year data for the year 2021.

Imposition of a warning penalty against both the United Insurance Company and the Al-Aqeelah Takaful Insurance Company for its delay in submitting mid-year data for the year 2021
